Professor Paulinho Costa
Paulo Gabriel Martins, born on March 13, 1996, in São Paulo, Brazil, grew up in a well-known children's shelter called DICA. He developed a passion jiu-jitsu at a young age and excelled in it under the guidance of coach Ricardo Ferreira. Later, he joined a local jiu-jitsu team and was mentored by Severino Soares (Mestre Dida). Paulo eventually moved to the USA to train with Caio Terra but later switched to the Gracie Humaitá . He won two IBJJF Pan American titles before receiving his black belt in 2018. In 2021, he began training at Atos Jiu-Jitsu under coach André Galvão in San Diego.
Coach Chris Manroe
Chris (aka-BC or Manny) began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2010 under Fabio Santos Black belt-Kregg Kohl, where he was promoted to the rank of Purple belt. In 2017, Chris began training at Apex Jiu Jitsu, where Professor Tim Pablo promoted him to Brown and then to Black belt. Additionally, Chris has spent over 20-years wrestling competitively, prior to starting jiu jitsu.
